ADIVASI COMMUNITY IN NILAMBUR

INTRODUCTION Tribals in Kerala (Adivasis of Kerala) are the indigenous population found in the southern Indian state of Kerala. Most of the tribal people of Kerala live in the forests and mountains of Western Ghats, bordering Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.According to the 2001 census of India, the Scheduled Tribe population in Kerala is 3,64,189 (lunas – 180,169 and felunas – 184,020). Wayanad has the highest number of tribals (1,36,062). [idukki- (50973) and Palakkad (39665) districts are the next two that make the lion portion of the native tribal people groups in the state. The Paniya (Paniyar) are the largest of the 35 major tribes. Tribal people groups who are food-gatherers, with diminishing population and very low or little literacy rates can be called as Primitive Tribes. DRUG ABUSE AMONG STUDENTS IN ERNAKULAM  KERALA,  Last month, Ananthu, a plus-two student hailing from Nettoor in Kochi, took the extreme step by jumping before a running train. His suicide note said he was addicted to drugs, and he took his life in order to escape from the evil. His was not an isolated incident. The youth in Kerala are fast falling prey to narcotic and psychotropic substances, and many recent violent crimes point fingers to the malady. The mother of a second-year degree student had approached us, urging to save her only son from drug abuse. So frightened, she said her son often turns violent and she’s afraid he may kill her one day. Another MBBS student who was under treatment at a de-addiction centre is said to have started using drugs again. The chances of recovery in cases of drug addiction are very low,” said Prince Augustin, Director of Pratyasha Bhavan, a de-addiction centre in Thodupuzha. I am Abdul Basith Now I am student in Nirmala B ed College at Ernakulum. Dou knows why I choose the B ed? So I tell you that a teacher has an amazing power among the students and the society. A teacher he shows the straight path to the student what is the good and bad and how to live as a gentleman. A teacher also like a spark of huge fire, as we know that the huge fires cause by simple spark from a matchbox, like that   the excellent and talented person or great leader they should have a memorable past which has been inspired throughout their lives and the inspired person approximately may be his teacher. There are excellent powers to a teacher.     By these I took a decision to become a teacher.
